GAVO Yep Centre has completed the First training Course

On April 25th 2008 the trainees of Hargeisa YEP (Youth Education Pack) have undergone the final practical and theoritical examination of their training that has started on june 2007. 55 Trainess has attended the Examination while a represetative from ministry of education and NRC were also part of the supervising team. GAVO Education Program manager was also observing during the examination work.

GAVO Meeting in Addis Ababa .... oxfam Canada

Farhan Adam Haibe. The executive director and Mohamud Abdilahi Awad the PACE Project Manager have left for Addis Ababa on 29th january to participate in a regional meeting organized by Oxfam Canada with its parterns in the horn. After the meeting the members will also participate a facilitation training also organised by Oxfam canada.

Network Training for the youth of Berbera

GAVO is conducting a five days training for youth in Berbera. The theme of the training is to enhance the youths skills on networking to enable them create linkages and network with each other. the training will be sponsored and facilitated by AfriAfia which is an Africa network organization that supports GAVO in the youth development activities. The training will take place in the Youth Development Center in Berbera from 4th to 8th February 2007.
